I've been noticing this trend a lot not just in Fashion week but as well as the top streetwear brands like Zara, Bershka, Stradivarius, Topshop, River Island etc...

I'm not exactly sure what to call this trend but for me its a mixture of 70s inspired & bohemian style.

So here's how to sport this trend. Try to wear a brown earth tones to dark red merlot inspired colors, best if it will be in suede and pair it with your gladiator or platforms.
If not, try to go simplier by wearing a suede brown tone skirts with your plain white tops.
I've seen a lot of this style in Zara.
Mix and match it with your denims or coats...

and at night, darker brown suede to red merlot wine colors might actually work.

Oh hello there! Last friday I went to this special style event hosted by Meg magazine called Meg Style Nightout!

At the entrance, the first booth that caught my eye was Careline. We had our free makeovers and played around with different looks.

Here's a friend of mine having her make up done. Look at her lips!

and here I am goofing around as usual...

Besides the Careline booth, other booths were the top streetwear brands perfect for every Meg girl.
Below clothes are from Folded & Hung styled by Ryuji Shiomitsu.

My other favourite stylist was this edgy chic Jan Aranilla that styled the Espirit booth.
I'm so fan girling her hair and her whole style.

The beautiful RCBC girls

Oh and this girl's outfit caught my eye just before leaving the event.
She's from the EVER NEW team.

Stage filled with the top stylists in the industry

Now on to my outfit that night...
EARRINGS: Stradivarius earcuffs
BAG: Zara
SWEATER: Thrift Shop
SKIRT: Landmark
HEELS: Suiteblanco

For today's look, I went for something  more bohemian yet still chic & modern.
I bought both the off shoulders blouse and palazzo pants from thrift shop.

Mind you, thrift shopping is fun! though you need a lot of patience in order to browse the entire store for best finds. I love it when I'm able to buy branded clothes at lowest price you can't even imagine. I think the cheapest that I was able to bargain was only P10 which was in this huge thrift shop store in Tagaytay.

One of my high school barkada proudly conquered one of her dreams and its was having her own Yoga Studio.

She and her partners opened L!FE Yoga Center in 2/F Eight Forbestown Road, Burgos Circle BGC a few weeks ago.

And last saturday she invited us over to attend their small event called Art-A-Palooza which celebrates Art-Music-Food-Yoga.

Meet Kristia, my girl friend and one of the owners

Now with my ArtsyFartsy friend Mae

Heat room at the 2nd Floor...

Inside the colorful girls room...

To me, it is the most modern age Yoga Studio I've seen so far. It is not your typical studio where you can just meditate but it is also a place of a growing community that loves yoga art music food combined.

Hi Guys! If you know me, you know that fashion has always been my passion.
It has been my hobby for years and sadly it was never a profession. Why?

Well, after I graduated from high-school I was actually eager to study fashion but a lot were saying that there's no money in fashion especially in our country since in those years, fashion industry was not yet on its prime. Forever 21, H&M, and other global high-street brands were not yet visible in our country and Philippine Fashion Week is not yet a big event.

That's the reason why I opted for my 2nd option which was Advertising. I graduated having a bachelors degree in communication, major in advertising in year 2009. My first job was in media and stayed in that industry for 5 years.

Last Feb 2015, I bravely resigned from my job as a Senior Client Service Executive in one of the top media agencies in the country to get into the industry that I've been wanting which was Fashion.

Now I'm working on my career as a freelance Fashion Stylist, at the same time I'm also working on 2 projects connected to fashion, and lastly I'm also currently looking for a job in the fashion industry where I can also execute my experience in media/advertising.

To be honest, I'm having a difficult time finding a job in fashion especially that I don't have any experience and I just rely on my own taste.

Though I do believe that "you can easily train someone but passion cannot be taught" that's just coming from my own opinion.

Anyway, I just want to share with you my style portfolio below and I wish you can refer me to your friends and family. I'm also open to do an exdeal depending on the scope of the project.

and here is my FB stylist fan page below, I hope you can click LIKE! :)

Thank you so much and I'm really hoping for your kind support.

Mwah!!!! <3 p="">

I've been noticing this trend lately in 2015 street style photos. I think putting a scarf around your neck makes your simple outfit look more fashionable & sophisticated.

Paisley Scarves
Get those old paisley scarves of yours and wrap it around your neck & top it on your simple/basic outfits.
Who said rappers are the only ones who uses a paisley scarf?

Scarves & Dresses
Feeling girly? Then try out your sweet scarf with your dress.

Scarves in Winter
Yes you can still wear that scarf on top of your turtle neck & jackets.

Other Ways
So here are a lot of different ways and styles you can do with your scarf.

I'm sure you or your mom has a lot of scarves just sleeping inside your cabinets.
Go bring it all up and try this new trend and make it modern.
